International MarketPlace

This is a photo of our pastor, Doug Davidson – a very down to earth guy. He will bend over backwards for people.
Today was International MarketPlace day @ our church Trinity Baptist in Mesa, AZ. It went from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm.
We started out @ the Passport table – they handed out passports with info about missions from around the world and they give you a sticker to put on your page for each place visited and a place for writing notes. Then they have rooms to visit in different buildings showing various things about the mission area. You may try samples of their food, or have photos taken in their garb, purchase some of their items or play question & answer games to win prizes, for example.
* @ 10:00 we visited Turkey, the Philippines, Africa, Brazil, Singapore, Spain & Az State University (believe it or not).
* @ 10:30 were activites for children ages 3 to 6th grade – campuswide
* @ 11:30 they began serving lunch at The International Park Cafe.
* @ 11:30 the International entertainment also started.
* @ 12:15 was the Special speaker – Walt Edman.
* @ 12:30 were Ethiopian singers
* @ 12:45 a Special announcement
Who won the contests?
It was a great time had by all!
