I went over to Julie’s to get the things I had forgotten, that Mike left outside her door secretively. The only thing that was very important to me was a book about my Mom’s life! He put a note in the bag saying:

Diane, I am sorry you feel the way you do about things, I just hope your doing ok and that your well. Just know that I love you from the bottom of my heart and don’t understand this. (This coming from a man that called me his “Bitch”, “Granny” and “ignorant” all the time, among other things. The “F” word was his favorite vocabulary!) How can someone claim to love you and talk so degrading? Then he wrote: I think of you everyday and wish you well and hope your ok. Even though I don’t understand this, know that I do love you and care about you and I’m thinking of you. Mike

First of all, he NEVER understood anything, only about himself! When I left him, he kept sending me text messages and calling (which I never answered). He had the nerve to ask me if I would take him to the doctors the next day! All in an attempt to keep in touch with me! When I sent him a text asking him not to contact me anymore, he sent one back saying, “ok tricksy” ~ meaning, all I was to him is a trick! Nice guy, huh? That’s when I changed my cell phone number ~ best thing I did. So now, dropping these things at my daughters house was his way of trying to keep in touch with me, and frankly it just makes me more angry towards him! I don’t like playing games and I’m not participating thanks! Sorry, I just had to blow off steam!
The sad part is, if I don’t get this other job tomorrow, I’ll have to go back to work with him, until I can find another! As much as I don’t want to, I can’t afford to lose anymore money. I’ve already been out a week!
Please pray that I continue to heal from this toxic relationship!
