No call I have to hear his voice, no voice that isn’t mean.
The loneliness just fills my day, of that there is no doubt…
the silence echos in my head and I can’t get it out.
You can be with more than one, but totally alone…
You long to hear the ringing sound of the telephone.
Alone as one, alone as three, it doesn’t really matter…
How I long to feel my heart, as it goes pitter-patter.
It’s been so long since yesterday, when I had that feeling…
But I know that I’ve stood still, I have to do some healing.
I pray to God that what I want, stands in front of me…
You promised you would answer prayers if two comes unto thee.
Lord I pray that happiness is on your list tonight…
I promise to be faithful ’till I see your warmest light.
