What Next?

OK! What will happen next? I called Mike tonight to tell him that I didn’t want any of his cars if anything should happen to him. He did the usual – try to convince me to come back to him. By Sunday, of course (his deadline)! My nephew, Glenn Jr. was here and took the phone from me because he was aggravated at how Mike was NOT taking my response that I wanted nothing to do with him. He asked Mike, “Are you ignorant or just stupid?” Mike responded, “Who the “F” is this?” “I’m her nephew and I don’t like the way your talking to my aunt!” Mike said, “Come here and say that to my face. If you know me so well than you know where I live!” Glenn Jr. said he would go there and kick his ass then had to answer his own phone for a very important call about his wife, Kim. Mike continued yelling on the phone not realizing that he was suddenly not there anymore. He still plans on dropping his safe off at our front door if I don’t go back Sunday. He said that if I didn’t sign the titles that he would “forge” my signature anyway!

How sad is the life of this man that I know. To live a delusional life that only he can live in. Perfect, I am not, but even I can see the imperfections in myself. Can it possibly be that he truly cannot see it? Or is it that the truth brings up a fear in him! He expects a certain someone to share his life, even if she is miserable due to his actions towards her. How could you even want someone in that condition. He always told her that she was the selfish one, but truly this is pure selfishness on his part. Is she really the one who’s crazy here? His actions are so outrageous that it’s clear to see where the majority of the problem lies. She only reacts to his heartless treatment of her. How can he see his actions as love? Only he can know that. What goes on in that mind of his to twist what he does as right? He just doesn’t see. He just doesn’t get it! I honestly feel sad for this man. I wish him well. I pray that God heals his soul and teaches him about himself so that he can have a happy, healthy relationship.

What Was I Thinking?

Why have I kept putting myself in harms way over and over again? To be in the type of relationship that I never wanted to have? And everytime that I went back, it was worse than the time before! I had to talk to God constantly, to keep my sanity. Now I pray that he leaves me alone – but is that asking too much of him? I think I know the answer to that. He is the mentally unstable one, although I should have my head examined for ever putting up with it again! You know that we think love can conquer all – not true at all.
At least I’m smiling and laughing again. I was so very sad most of the time. My brother-in-law, Glenn told me this morning that it was good to see me smiling and laughing again. He gave me a much needed hug and actually had tears in his eyes because he’s really a big softy inside that stern acting exterior. Of course then I also had tears in my eyes and he apologized for making me cry, but sometimes it’s a good thing.
